Any word from the graduate director? When you do, do you mind passing on what they say? Thanks!

Applied as a Ph.D. candidate but was accepted into the M.A. instead. received this email after I queried: "In reviewing some of the applications, the Admissions Committee decided that some applications would work best for the Masters, rather than for the Doctoral, Program. if you have been notified that you have been accepted into the Masters Program, then, yes, you have been considered for and accepted to matriculate into that Program only."

Anyone received any update from this program?

To the Africana Studies at Cornell ooster who asked "Hi, anyone gotten their results from the Africana studies program? The people who had interviews in late Jan, have you heard anything?": Prospective students were invited to and had a campus visit.

Email to check portal. Standard letter about a high, qualified acceptance pool. This was a long shot, so I'm not too disappointed. Congrats to everyone who made it!! 1a/1r/6p

Was interviewed on Jan. 22. Received email to check portal. Admit weekend is March 17/18th

Has anyone heard from the AMST department at George Washington? They usually interview, but no one has posted anything.
