Here goes a dream admit down the drain. Still hoping to get into their pmp program. Let's see.

Received mail with notification of rejection! And here i was thinking I had a chance. Bad way to start my decision season.

Canadian Student

To the CMU MS CS guys who received decision: was it just the mail stating decision or link to portal? It still shows offline so wondering.

Great news. I'd applied for specialisation in Visual computing, which is not mentioned. Official letter will reach within 6 weeks.

Been waiting from a long time! :)

2nd admission

Got accepted with an assistantship, still unsure about it.

A letter containing details will be sent to me, I think It will be conditional because my iBT score is 95. Scholarship results will be sent separately.

Upper 2nd class Bachelor in computer engineering from NUS. Gpa 4.26/5.0. 4+ years of work experience in a research lab. 1 first author paper in conference. 3 other papers in workshops. Won 2 international competitions (machine learning related). LORs by colleagues who are well known in computer vision. Didn't expect to get in due to poor grades and badly written SOP. Don't give up if you have bad grades. I was rejected many times over the past few years (for phd at other places even bough I had much better LORs then).

1st class predicted degree from UK university, top 5% of class, 1 internship+tutoring experience, various competitions

GPA 9.62/10, 3 papers on conferences, internship, work experience.

From LUMS, Pakistan. No word on Excellence Fellowship.

Received email confirming admission, official offer letter to be posted in 2 weeks to home address

First result, first acceptance. No mention of funding. Good SOP, awesome recommendations. 3 years of experience and one startup.
