I am sorry that it is not possible to predict the Committee's final action; however, in the past several years we were only able to offer admission to one or two students who were on the "Wait List". Therefore, I suggest that you continue to develop alternative plans for continuing your graduate education. The competition for the very limited number of openings in our Department is quite intense, and we have already been forced to turn down many applicants with very fine records.
