GPA: 8.32, 1 IEEE paper (First author). 1.5+ years of job experience. Feels bad.

Add me to the long list of rejects. Was a long shot anyway. May be applying to MEng could have been a better option. This is all meaningless now. So long UCB.

To the masters update below: yes my situation is the same. However, my admit further says it is conditional. So I will wait till I get official letter.

1 year industry, 2 years of relevant research experience with fellowship, 2 papers in very reputed journals, strong LORs. Probably because of low GPA.

Anyone who has heard about funding information?

3 International papers, 2 National level journal papers, decent LORs. Well, still a reject. Good luck to those who got an admit

B.Eng. in Electronic and Information Engineering at a top-five university in China. No paper. One Internship when applying.

UCR has put me in waitlist. Friends, who have offers from UCR and don't wish to join, please decline the offer as soon as possible. I really really want to attend this school.
