ignore waitlist! has anybody gotten a response?

I emailed and filled out the contact form for Rutgers a few weeks ago asking about decisions. I've checked the portal daily and “under review” was still locked. I just heard back today from the contact form that the decision was posted on my page. It was one line stating the rejection. No letter or any other information given. Very impersonal and disappointing considering this was a top choice. Glad to round off my application season. 1 A/11 R/0 P

MA GPA was 11.6/12. Was told that I am high on the waitlist for full funding, so fingers crossed!

International student applying from France. Average GPA, one think-tank internship, a job as a pollster, and good LoRs. Speak 4 languages and have a very international background. Any stories about the waitlist in PoliSci at CEU?

Just saw the update after continuous checking of the website. The school did not give me any information, I had to literally beg to get information. I would have felt bad, but I do not because I already gave up on it because I applied very early but results was so late that I forgot all about the program. I am not happy with the treatment that I got and the graduate coordinator does not respond to emails. I just have to pick myself up and start afresh.

Did anyone hear from NYU Ph.D. in Politics? My status is still unknown. I am either rejected, waitlisted, or accepted. Whenever I email the department, they say applications are still in deliberation. It's close to April and the contract signing deadline is April 15. I'm so confused. Did they even review my application? Ugh I submitted it 6 months ago.....

UK student. E-mail received that I have been recommended to receive an offer and that although I'm not in the top 3 for LSE funding I have a reasonable chance of getting LAHP or LSE funding if someone declines it.

so what should I say more about it? Last year with a splash of hope, I was all in one dime for this school to pursue a phd here but I didn't get in. I was so disappointed at myself and I tried again this year. BUT I was too afraid to apply for a PhD so I just applied for a master hoping to get into the fast-track later on. And I was accepted but without FA. In the mean time, I got another PhD at Manchester..............sometimes life just wanted to tease you for fun I guess........
