No email, just logged into my application portal and a rejection letter was waiting for me

MEng Program. Double major in CS and Applied Math/Econ at Ivy League Undergrad. 4.0 CS GPA, but definitely missing background in some key areas (operating systems, architecture, some others). 2.5 yrs data science work experience. Applied mostly to data science programs, but also got into Cornell Tech (MEng CS), which I'll be considering

I called the Graduate Office of CSE, and was told that decisions will be out sometime next week. No indicator if this will be just a mass rejection or maybe there is a second acceptance wave.

That post where person applied 3/15, but rejected on 3/25. Not sure how apps are processed. Getting anxious bc 4/15 deadlines are coming up. In previous years, I see people getting accepted in April-May. I'm just gonna pretend I'm rejected, and not get my hopes up. Also website says Brown has "rolling admission" for cs, so it really could be there's less spots for people who applied late.

TPB : I had applied just few hours before the deadline because I always thought that as long as it is before the deadline it shouldn't really matter. Even I havent heard from them yet. I am just thinking that perhaps they're sending out in batches considering that the previous posts were a mix of accepts and rejects.

I got an email on 04/05/2019 informing me of my acceptance. I am a working professional so I actually applied to the professional Master's program (part-time) and not the full-time program on campus. Does anybody have any input or say on this program? Is it reputable and worth all the money? It appears to be much easier to get accepted than the full-time program and it's taught my tech leaders and not necessarily research professors. The application process was free and does not even require GRE! Let me know what you guys think, thanks!

My status is pending too. I haven't seen any Columbia rejections posted here so far (am I right?), so I'm guessing we'll get those soon :(

TTPB, which email address did u sent to? I tried to sent dozens of emails to them but all failed...

Reply to mail my mail asking when will the decisions be rolled out - "Unfortunately, at this time, you are not being recommended for admission to the Computer Science program. We do not send denials until late in the spring because denials cannot be reversed so we wait until we are 100% done with admissions before sending denial notices."

Surprised - was one of my 'safety schools'

Finally, the status becomes "update pending" ... but I've seen many ppl got admission to UMass ...... :(

TTPB : When did you submit your application?

Anyone heard back from Dartmouth after being waitlisted? I emailed them a week or more ago asking if I'm still on the list but received no response. I've received 7 rejects and I'm on my way to being rejected by all the programs I applied to. Dartmouth really is the only hope I have left at this point.
