Mail from school of engineering, official letter will come within 2 weeks.

To the UMCP poster below: No publications. Undergrad major: ECE. A Gold medal from the National Olympiad in Informatics. I was notified via an email from the CS department. They said that "The University's Graduate School will send you official confirmation of your admission." No Portal Status Update Yet.

to the UPenn posters below: I have not received any updates either. I applied to work in Theory/Algorithms, and also noted that I would like to learn more about their ML program, and Computational Learning Theory before making a decision... From talking with professors at my college, I'm pretty sure we can consider ourselves wait-listed.

Canadian undergrad and citizen

Official letter would come in 2 weeks. "If you have academic work in progress, your admission is contingent on the receipt of a final transcript demonstrating that you have maintained the requirements for admission to UCLA and the Computer Science Department." Can someone please explain what they exactly mean by this ? Is there some minimum GPA they expect us to score in final year -- and cancel our admit if we don't score this ?

Just had the technical interview with one of the lecturers of the program. Got a difficult question about an NP-Problem. I only knew parts of the answer. Admission should be published next week for the January-Deadline.
