Did anyone heard back from the Systems group? Have the professors already made decisions? If yes, why are they delaying notifications?

To the posters below: Does that mean if we don't receive any notification by end of February, it's an implicit reject? Do you know the statistics like how many of the total applicants got selected?

To the post below (and below and below), I received a email 1 week ago from one prof of theory group claiming I'm on the short list to be admitted. While I haven't received any official offer.

Second reject, no admissions yet. Received email to check website. Seems like even though Yale is sending more admissions this year than before, I still got no chance to get in. Hope other schools will show me mercy.

First admit! Admitted with 25% scholarship which is lower than was promised on their website. Not sure if I'll take it.

Has any one heard back from Columbia University (Fu Foundation), theory group?

Yale is such a joke. I can confirm what the poster below said about their program being filled with Chinese students - their stats are not that great. Yale is not even that highly ranked. Did this program just turn into a legit cash cow? Well it's their loss that we are rejected.

Has anyone heard from Columbia (ML)? I don't see that many results below and not sure which programs they belong to.

Yale is blind. It admits more than 10 plus students from only one university in China. And the program is full of Chinese students. Won't going though. I have a better option now for CMU.

To posters who are admitted to the CS dept in PhD program at UCSD, did you have an interview with POI or a lab before receiving the admission letter? Did they offer the financial aid?

I got into Carnegie Mellon so this was a bit of a surprise
