TPB: wow ..umm..highly discouraging. So it seems that the ones who didn't receive an acceptance by now are auto-rejected. Was really counting on Brown. Didn't get to see too many acceptances like other good schools so I thought they were probably sending out acceptance and rejection mails in batches. What a sad news.

Got a reply from Brown CS (jane) saying I'm on the "unofficial wait list" if I haven't received a decision yet, and that an offer of admission is unlikely.

TTPB, seems like very few people arr still in this pool. Please let know if you hear back.

Why do they want to wait till the end of April if all the remaining decisions are rejects? Anyways, thank you for your information.

TTPB : I also applied for usc but I have checked my decision status at yousc(you.usc.edu/) rather its CAS system. So i don\'t know it was just a glitch of the CAS system. Hope that we all get great results from BU and USC.

TTPB :Hahhaha, I've applied to USC and received that weird CAS mail yesterday. Guess its a CAS wide glitch :P

TTPB: Yes. I mailed CS department 3 hours back to ask them if they still plan to roll out admits cuz I really need to make a decision by 15th april. No reply yet, guess they ignoring.

I just received an email from the application system (CAS system) at the Boston University. But it just inform welcoming to the online application system. I already got this email in the last december when I applied for the phd program. I don't know why this email has been sent. Has anyone received this email ?

As per update received from them on my query about decisions, they have informed that "All admission decisions will be made by the end of April"

I emailed the graduate department since I have not heard anything and need to make a decision and they responded with a rejection letter.
