TTPB：Congrats!! Also interviewed but nothing back. When did you hear from the director, this morning EST? It's so early...

TTPB: I got an email from the Director of Graduate Studies saying that I got admitted with a University Fellowship pending on final approval by the Dean of the Graduate School.

TTPB: do you hear from the committee or the auto-email of application portal?

Guys, if you have been accepted to the combined Film and Media Studies program at Yale, would you mind sharing your result and/or your home department? Haven't heard back after an interview about two weeks ago and was thinking if I should ask the program about my status this coming week. Thanks a lot.

TTPB: can you plz share your subfield and stats? Did you do the interview, if so when? Also, I wonder who else got their results today? P.S. I hope you guys get offer -- this is my dream program.

Grad GPA: 3.9. First decision of the season. Shifting from Electrical Engineering to Economics. It's hard.

Just an update to my accept: a lot of people may be skeptical and rightfully so, but I didn't come on here to troll. I understand the stress and anxiety we're all going through. I just thought I'd share my results over here, hoping it may give some people hope that Yale is starting to get things rolling despite the radio silence. If you don't hear back from the graduate admissions or department, then you're probably going to hear from your POI informally as I did. Or maybe this was a one off, I'm not sure. Regardless, I'm elated. Good luck again everyone :)

Interviewed in mid-January. Official email from the department followed by an email from my potential advisor.

Got an email from my POI on Friday (was in my junk folder, so make sure y'all check) and only noticed it today. They informally let me know that I've been admitted and they are interested in my research proposal. They want to schedule a meeting to discuss more of my work, and that I should expect a formal admissions letter within 2-3 weeks. Super excited given this was my reach school. Goodluck everyone and dont stress :)

Grad GPA is 4.0. 2a/0wl/2r/2ir/20p
