E-mail received saying Faculty of SW has recommended me for admission. Not quite official, but close enough.

Got an email saying I was accepted! First one! Told me to check the website as it had had my admit letter. My last option.

No notice of financial aid.

Finally got my official letter. Was notified by the department chair a month ago that I was recommended, so not sure what's up with the graduate school offices and the delay--litereally said they ran out of stationary, then the director was out of office for an undetermined time and wasn't around to sign the letters. Anyway: 3.34 gpa, not a TON of relevent work experience. Decent LOR and strong personal statements. Gary seems like an awesome guy!

Official letter of acceptance in the mail today :)

I got offer of admission from MSU. But, I'm an international student and English is a secondary language, so I have to take an additional English test. My credit I can take will depend on my English test result. OMG. I'm waiting for other school's admission.

Has anyone heard from the Social Work program? They said they would get back to me during the mid to end of March, but I'm still worried because I saw one previous post from someone who was accepted back in February. Should I call or wait awhile?

Email to check website, interviewed last Thursday. Super excited!

Unconditional acceptance.

Was really surprised at this one considering I got into programs that were much more rigorous. I guess they were looking for someone who was a better fit. Was over email told to check the application portal for results. Good luck :)

Applied on a long shot to their Macro and Aging Concentration and got in today! Still waiting to hear on financial aid. For those who don't think they can get in with a low GPA, put your heart into your mission statement and try anyway. Pleasantly surprised :)
