Was informed that I am on a short wait list, so I would be extremely grateful if accepted applicants that plan to go elsewhere could reject their offers in due time.

Anyone planning to reject their offer?

I applied to this program with two relevant master's degrees with high GPAs (4 and 3.8), research, journalism and teaching backgrounds, no publication, according to a response from a prof who encouraged me to apply (no interview). My status never changed from "under review by graduate admission". The application fee is higher than normal(169 CAD) and the decision is announced so late. My experience says it is not reasonable to apply to this university.

2 BAs, 75% average (UK system), around 5 years of work experience and numerous extracurriculars / volunteering / internships internationally

Off the waiting list and got acceptance. Received an email from the department.

If anyone is considering to reject WSU - political science PhD, it would help me greatly.

Disgraceful, disrespecting, discriminatory. Didn't bother informing and myFile showed unsuccessful after keeping me waiting for months. YU produces grads that they themselves cannot accept on the ground of visa status. Otherwise, I had a solid profile and strong recommendation letters. My greatest mistake was to study here for my MA.

Accepted off of waitlist with full funding.

Accepted off the waitlist - Political Theory.

This is for the 1y MSc in Econ. GPA from a Canadian undergrad.

Received the admission offer from Carolynn this morning. IR track. But I will reject the offer tonight since I have just accepted another excellent offer in America. I know it's painful to be put on the waitlist, and I sincerely hope other IR waitlistees can have a better chance to be admitted by UToronto. Best wishes to you all!

Ignore the status: Has anyone got admitted to UBC and can please share their updates? No news from such program so far for PhD applicants?

2-yr MSc Economics. Email arrived a little after 7am EST (Nice news to wake up to!). This came about 5 weeks after my rejection to the 1-yr Econ Msc.
