To the poster below: January 14, 1 day before deadline. That's why I was surprised.

To the post below: When did you apply to the Penn State program?

$31.625, Research Assistantship surprised by the early feedback, expected to be informed around early march

First program I've heard back from!

They accepted 10 students overall, mainly international students. Campus visit end of February.

Friendly phone call, verbal acceptance, but waiting for email with admissions offer details.

3 year research exp, papers in prep

My research interests don't necessarily completely align with the department's main interests, but this shows everyone that you don't need to graduate cum laude to get into a top 20 program!

"We received our highest number of applications this year, so we were forced to decline admission for a large number of qualified individuals."

4 years of research, three papers, 12 presentations

2nd Rejection

6 summer research experience, decent cgpa, low gre scores, excellent LORs. Would appreciate if someone could tell me the reason of rejection.

2yrs research experience, strong personal statement and LOR's.
