I emailed admissions and asked when decisions will be released. The person I talked to was really nice, and she said mid-February or a couple weeks at the latest. Hang in there everyone!

Has anyone who applied for the Language & Rhetoric track hear anything back yet? Including an email about being in the top 15% of applicants?

I have multiple publications and an MPH (infectious disease epidemiology).

PI: SC notified me that I was not selected for interview. Over 100 applicants to SC's lab alone!

Email saying they wanted to let me know I was accepted and the formal admissions offer will soon be coming.

No Publication, Low Undergrad GPA, Strong LOR

Had a BSc and MSc from a Canadian university, a publication and very relevant research experience to atleast 3 POIs. I had interview invites from higher ranked schools and I was hoping this would be a safer choice, but I guess I was wrong.

Wow, very surprised by this!

Did my Masters of Eng at this school, yet still not surprised at this rejection. It was worth a try though.

Kinda expected it but still stings

I was going to say no anyway, I am glad it went to someone else :)... At least I have Cornell, Michigan, and UC Berkeley :)
