The Department of Computer Science at the University of Saskatchewan receives many more than applications for the September term than positions available. I am afraid funding, space and supervisory limitations prevent us from accepting all of the students who apply for admittance to our program. Our program is highly competitive and we receive many applications from fully qualified candidates with extremely strong records. Only the top few percent in terms of academic achievement, etc. can be admitted or supported by our Department. We had an exceptionally strong pool of applicants this year. We received approximately 300 applications for September 2016 and have offered admission to 40 students with an average GPA of 88.74%.

Thanks CMU for rejecting me. I got into a much better Univ.
