Shocked they didn't interview before making decisions (only had short list critique an old psychology paper). Over the moon to have my first offer!!

Double majored, highly-ranked undergrad school, strong portfolio, recommendations from Yale, but not unexpected to receive rejection

Does anyone know if Yale Physics has finished sending out interview invites yet? Just wondering, since I've seen a few posted here, but not enough to really know whether they sent all interviews out at once or not...

Same question, Any interviews?

quick question- do you have to have an interview before you are accepted? Don't know for sure but it sounds like interviews are prerequisite to acceptance.

To the poster asking about Yale Sociology: I interviewed with them 2 weeks ago and they said to expect a decision by mid-February.

Has anyone heard anything from Yale Sociology? Any word on when decisions might be due?

Does anyone know when they will release the decisions? Last year they sent out the results ten days after the informal interview ...

Apply as a senior undergraduate. Some research and strong letters. A dream comes true. Super excited!!!

TPB: Offered 42k, 8.4K came from Cowles foundation and rest from university.

Received $41k. Anyone received a different amount?

email from co-director of graduate studies

TPB: I'm not sure, but I guess ir means "implicitly rejected"

What does “ir” mean? How is it different from “p”?

TTPB: I got the email around midnight EST yesterday.
