Called the ISyE department last week, they just told me my application is still under reviewing and hopefully they can make the final decision at next week. Don't know if it means i am waiting listed. But, if someone get their offer but don't want to go, Please reject the offer ASAP. Thanks a lot!!!! Really want to study at UW Madison

Is there anyone who hasn't received a notification post their interview yet? It seem there were some rejections on the 8th. However I haven't received anything. Please reply if you have applied to the same dept. Thanks!

To the person below: are the two people you mentioned from mechanical engineering or from economics. If they're from engineering that means that there was no delay because of international students and they alreday sent out first round acceptances. This is so stressful.

I also received similar notification 2 weeks ago saying, "Your application was sent to our program by admissions and is now being reviewed by our faculty".. Just don't know for how long but let's remain hopeful. Ps. Heard a lot of Internationals applied and that's the main reason in the delay of decisions.

I received an update through email, letting me know that my application had been forwarded to the mechanical department and I would be notified of a decision soon. That was 2 weeks ago. Anyone else hear anything?
