Yes, I called them yesterday. I was told that the decisions were being mailed out that day. So we should be getting them soon. I live in MD so I'm hoping that I get something in the mail tomorrow or Friday.

Has anyone heard from GU without specifically emailing them?

Thanks to the person below! :) I got an email from them, and they said official letters would go out "within the next week or so".

To the admitted Georgetown student, congratulations! Did you find out by inquiring, or did they send you an acceptance email?

:)

Never received letter/email- had to call. response was a curt "you've been denied admission." Waited since Feb to decide since it's when i heard form my second choice school.

No email, no letter....pissed off~

no e-mail, no letter........scared~

Damn, I really like this program...:( Emailed the dept. - got nice, considerate reply from Mark Murphy.

Not a thing either...frustrating! I also live but one state away, if this was mailed last week, I should have rec'd by now.

No I still haven't received a letter. Ughh...what does that mean? No letter, no email. This is so frustrating. What are you doing to me Georgetown??

Eh, they don't have a Ph.D.

I called them today and they said letters went out last week. I haven't gotten mine, which makes me suspicious. Has anyone received theirs?

Not an April Fool's day hopefully.. after an endless wait, GT turned up, and it came as a yes. Well, it was my top remaining choice, but am not too sure anymore

Was informed of likely acceptance on 3/28/09, and contacted again on 3/30/09 with official news!

Not a bloody thing yet. I just want to know either way, get it over with already!

Letter dated 18/Mar.
