Considering how they're one of the earlier app deadlines (December), to post results a week after the commitment deadline is pretty annoying. I also emailed the department three times throughout the process with different questions and I never got a response either.

TTPB: Sharing the the same concern. Few got admits for Spring 21. Not sure what they're consolidating first Fall 20 or Spring 21. Fingers crossed.

Decision letters are available to view and print until the end of the current calendar year. Be sure to print a copy of your letter and keep it in a safe place. Loooooooooooooool. TTPB - I also though we were rejected but the grad school replied to my mail saying that the application is still under review. Honestly, I don't think there are a lot of vacancies and although they might give some admits, probably we are rejected. I think the results should come by starting of May.

Anybody has any idea, when ECE department will send notifications? or just assume implicit rejection? I received Email on 25th March, saying "your application is still under review and department will send your final decision in few weeks". Post this I saw 1 post in Gradcafe claiming "acceptance". Haven't heard anything after that

Does anyone know when the DICE decisions will be released? I am not hopeful at this point but at least a formal rejection, please.

No email, no contacts, status changed on Quest this morning @_@. Man UWaterloo is rude

I was accepted in the pre-evaluation phase. Was finally accepted after an interview conducted remotely.

Had an interview in late Jan. I haven't contacted PI after the interview for a follow up cause I got admission from a better university with a better PI and wasn't planning to go to Waterloo anyway. Didn't get any email just checked the website.

I got interviewed by my PI in Feb and did terribly, contacted the professor a month later to know whether a decision has been made and he told me he is not going to be recommending me for admission. No Email.....Just a change of status on the quest website. Disappointed but not surprised.

Radio silence so far... I already lost my hopes

TAMU CSE PhD admission sucks! I don't think anyone heard anything back from them (talking only about international applicants). I doubt whether TAMU CSE PhD admissions rolled out? Anyone heard back ? I even contacted there office, no as such update from them. Generally by 15th April all US admits are out. Anyone know what is happening? Any info will be great help :/

TTPB: Try email Professor Mona Jarrahi who also handles graduate affairs. I've sent them multiple messages through email and Message Center for weeks but never heard back a thing. But Prof Jarrahi replied after just one day. If you still haven't heard back, you might be on the waitlist since she told me 4/15 was a hard deadline. Also here's some information regarding the coronavirus circumstances for anyone who is wondering/interested: they will accommodate deferrals of 1, 2, or 3 quarters for MS-PhD and PhD students and deferral of one year for MS-only students.
