Emailed to check application status portal where letter of acceptance was.

Already have a better offer so will likely decline - good luck to everyone else on the waitlist!

email to check the website. At least I won't have to decide between Duke and being disowned by my family from Kentucky

Accepted to MEM program. No info yet about concentration or funding.

Mail to check the portal, very impersonal letter, would expect something more after paying $100 application fee

No words about funding yet. Does anyone know if there will be future information about funding/aid/scholarship?

Your application and supporting documents have been carefully reviewed by the Economics department and by The Graduate School. As is often the case, the number of well-qualified applicants for admission to the Duke University Graduate School far exceeds the number of available places. Consequently, we are unable to admit all applicants judged capable of successful graduate work, and I regret that we cannot offer you admission to the Economics Ph.D. program. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to consider your application. I wish you the very best in your future career.
