Expected, but still sad

Interviewed and rejected

5 years work ex, 2 in academia as a faculty at my country's best law school. 1 publication in a top international journal. Average grades in undergraduate school, but decent grades in my ivy league master's.

Interesting... spoken with POI who thought my research proposal was interesting. I also completed an MSc here with high grades, and I didn't even get an interview? Something must've gone pretty wrong with my application.

Submitted application on 1/16, processed on 1/17, received unconditional offer on 2/1

E-mail received to let me know to expect an interview in February. I am a UK applicant.

Top of graduating class at Russel Group undergrad, RA position at a central bank.

Graduate from a top Russel Group university. Humanities, Top of class with nominations and an award. Relevant work experience, fairly strong LORs, strong statement, although lacking pol. economy modules in UG curriculum. Good luck to y'all.

Canadian undergrad. Got email with conditional offer this morning. No funding provided (not sure how likely it is to obtain funding).

EME. No funding. Probably because I requested too much

Decision took about 5 weeks. No funding from the Graduate Support Scheme - my need was around 20k, I've heard rumors that requesting any more than 8k gets you an automatic denial of funding? So maybe it was true. Regardless, still very excited about this!
