Applied on November 2018. Still have not heard back from Tamu. I have seen few admit posts in March. This is ridiculous. Why can't they just handover the rejection?. When I mail them, I get the same generic reply telling that the decision will be announced when the department wants it to be announced. This is disgusting. Won't join anyways!

Waitlisted and then rejected.

I'm on 9 rejects, 0 accepts. I was hoping for Dartmouth where I was waitlisted, but nope. Really wish Columbia sends their reject soon enough so I can forget about the monumental mistake that was this admissions cycle and put myself out of my misery.

TTPB: Even my status changed to update pending last night. Did not receive any email notification(not even spam), would not have known had I not checked the portal. Bracing for a reject.

Was waitlisted earlier, today got the rejection unsurprisingly.

Rejected by the PhD program on March 24th and contacted by the MS admission committee for the one-way interview on March 27th. I submitted my interview on March 29th. Have not heard anything back from them since then. Sent an email asking about my application, and only received an auto response.

To someone who comments my comment, you may think I am aggressive somehow in e-mails, I am not . I'm always polite and try to be considerate. You should try to put yourself in someone's shoes. At least grad schools should reply to mails checking status, some don't bother. And BTW, I am just angry at the way they work, and I already got admission from other schools.

your awful attitude and unnecessary entitlement is totally why you got rejected and they are not responding to you because you probably come off as aggressive in your emails. please take note, people: submitting an application never guarantees anything and it shouldn't be expected that you'll get in somewhere. congrats to everyone who got in to the place they wanted to be!!
