Very quick reply - submitted application two weeks prior.

Oh, I forgot I applied to Georgetown. Got into much better schools yo.

Oh my god! I can't believe I got in.

I have already accepted another offer because of a deadline and because in the end it is probably best for me in terms of what I want to do. But I have to say this prolonged delay by Georgetown is very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I understand there were many more applications this year, but every college experienced this rise in applications. And most still managed to send their replies by March and early April. I don\'t understand why they haven\'t been able to send any decisions yet...

Is there any news from GU? still no letter...

Waitlisted...said I would know the beginning-middle of May. Also said there were over 170 applicants and that being waitlisted means that I was in the top 30.

What's the deal with Georgetown? Anyone know why we wasted $75 applying there?

Finally, after numerous emails, they let me know. Took long enough!

I know that I said that we may be able to tell you about the status of your application by April 8th, but now it looks like we will not be able to reply until April 16. I appreciate your flexibility for another week as we make our final decision. We have had so many applications that it is taking us longer than expected to complete the review process.
