Technically not a rejection yet...but might as well be. Emailed to inquire about decisions and received this reply, MEMORANDUM To: Pending Applicants From: Andrew Epstein Director of Graduate Studies Associate Professor of English Date: Friday, March 24, 2017 RE: Status Update Query You are not currently listed on our first tier or wait list. Has anyone heard from UW Seattle for fiction?

1a/2w/12r/0p My letter was dated 3/16/17. Hope you applicants already accepted will decide on where you are going, and accept and decline so waitlisted applicants can have a chance at a fully funded program.

I posted already but I was waitlisted via email by a graduate assistant as well. I don't know if it was official but why does it matter if it's official or not? We still have to wait until April 15th :(

No email to check the website; just checked it on my own and I was rejected.

Still waiting to hear back. Looks like the poets might be starting to get word.

Checked the portal out of curiosity after perusing this site and found a letter dated yesterday. Unless I find out in the next two weeks, I'll be going either to Sarah Lawrence or Brooklyn College. Both are smaller programs where I was either offered more funding or am better able to afford. That's it for me! Best of luck, everyone. 3a/1w/4r

Complimentary handwritten note!

"Denied." No email, so be sure to check portal.

Just checked portal. A very simple statement..."Your application has been reviewed, and the Committee has denied admission." No email with the decision or telling me to check the website.

Voicemail from Lysley Tenorio. No word on funding. Stoked. 8a/0w/8r/2p. (Side-note: It's kind of silly that the search listing can't handle the apostrophe in "St. Mary's.")

Status: American living abroad. Email to check portal

Letter came without email. 0a/1w/1r
