To the person from Iran, I am waiting for a decision too. I had one interview; unfortunately, the professor found a more suitable student. I am also from Iran. I applied for AI/Vision. Congrats on 10 ISI published papers. Seriously, why don't they decide already?

Closure. Have multiple research industry offers, Google, FAIR. I think they want me to make money for the next 6 years. Unrealistic demands from acad I think.

I haven't received any decision yet. (10 ISI published papers, GPA: 4, IELTS 6.5) No faculty member has replied my emails and also tried to contact me. Seems they don't really want to give opportunities to international students. (From Iran)

I was contacted by a professor in early January who showed encouragement, but since then nothing has happened. I don't think there is any chance of admission at this point. I too have mailed the admissions office in multiple occasions and have not received any response. However, I called them on Friday and they gave me the number for the contact person in the department. I plan to call her on Monday to get the rejection confirmation.

What the hell do these universities expect anyway. How much more can one do than get good grades, research exp, papers, and recos from well known profs. FUCK grad school admissions. I have a better chance at the lottery

TTPB: I last emailed them on 16th of April but got that same generic reply, after that there's no communication from that side. I don't know if there are only rejections left then why they are taking so long. For me also this one is the last hope for my graduate studies this term.

TTPB: Can you please tell us if you contacted the University at any point? My mail only got a generic reply asking me to wait. Is it only rejections at this point? This is my last hope for a graduate degree and the wait has been beyond frustrating.

Does anyone know when they send phd rejects? They start sending master rejects.

TTPB I don't get their logic. They are late already, and they go about converting PHD applications to Master's, even though most PHD applicants are likely to have a Master's degree already and therefore are likely to reject it, while they have kept the Master's applicants still waiting. Like, We had some reasons behind applying to a particular program, just tell us if we're in or not.

Last admission decision. This was my dream school :(
