To the poster below, I still haven't got the official offer

not accepted to the Ph.D. program, but now being considered for the M.S. program

First admit, IIT graduate, 2 internships

Non-cs undergraduate, with 1 year work experience in media as a journalist.

Rejected for PhD, but still being considered for the MS program.

"now considering masters application"

I knew it was coming, after all these delays, still had a small Ivy hope. Anyway, just a very very very short rejection letter. Indian undergraduate with Canadian master's.

Had an unofficial offer from a professor about a month ago. I rejected it so I guess that's the reason :P

So stoked that I've got UChicago. I'm going to the US!!

to the poster below, is it also true about master applicants? I called the department yesterday and they told me that they'll finish reviewing master applications by the end of march. and I asked if not receiving an admission till now means that I am rejected and he answered no, they are still not done! so I'm wondering if what you said is only about PHD or also master applicants!

I have a friend who is a PhD student in the committee this year and he told me all decisions have been made and over 3/4 results are sent out. So if you didn't receive it there is very little chance at this moment to get into the MS program this year.

To to poster below, did you get official letter from OSU on mondey ? Prof said me I will get letter on mondey but I dindt.

Already a PhD student at UCSB in Media Arts and Technology. 3.96 GPA in MAT. 2.5 years of work experience in relevant field.

To the people who got admissions to PhD program, anyone heard about fellowships?
