I had asked them earlier and got a reply that they are trying to send decisions by end of april. My status is also released to program. I am feeling hopeless

u know what, it's just not normal! the second round of decisions were released a month earlier last year and I have no freaking idea what on earth happened this year

I think they give a lot of weightage to GRE scores.

Thesis option.

I have better offers. NCSU and Stony Brook are hit and miss universities anyways because too many people apply there thinking they are Mod.

TTPB: I think the CS department works differently. I have read about many people being accepted without funding or a supervisor. Also, you are given a year from the date of joining to find your supervisor. So I guess (or I hope) that you can be admitted even if no supervisor has picked you.

To all those still waiting for McGill...it's FAQ page for grad CS says "Most applications will stay in the "submitted" status until a decision is made." Link: https://www.cs.mcgill.ca/academic/graduate/faq/ HOWEVER, if you check its ece's website, you will see that applications still in the submitted state are considered incomplete and cannot be recommended for admission because no professors have selected them. Link: https://mcgill.ca/ece/graduate/graduate/procedures I hope CS department works differently else I'm afraid there's bad news for us, especially those who have not contacted any professor. TTPB, Yes. No response from them.

My status is also "Submitted". Let's hope for the best...

Like many others here my status still says 'submitted' . Based on a post i read on quora from last years cycle the process can go on even beyond May for some candidates. One even mentioned he got his reply in August( just weeks before the starting date)

Is there any hope now?

When can we expect Columbia admits for MS CS program ? Its already too late. Did anyone get a response from them ? I interviewed on 24th March.

TPB: Have you tried to send an email to the graduate admission department? Got any response?
