To the UChicago MS CS person with admit: when did you apply and did your portal get updated?

To the poster below : I'm sorry but I think what the poster below you reported is true. PhD admit decisions have already been made & people have already attended PhD Open House. What that person means is that MS admit decisions have also been made, but not all of the admitted applicants have been notified. But what I doubt is that a person on the admissions committee can't be aware when decisions will be posted by the clerical staff, but a committee member can only know whether decisions have been made. So, I guess this is the end of the road. Keep calm & brace yourself for rejects.

How many here got UIUC Masters in Thesis admits? there seems to be only 3-5 ppl who have posted. Is there any hopes for the rest.

To the poster below. I just received a mail saying the exact same thing. What is the difference between summer and fall semesters ? Any idea ?

Sad, I thought I would have got in but got a reject. Have only one admit from RIT.

I think this is generic mail everyone got : We have received your application and supporting documents for admission to the Graduate School. After careful consideration, the faculty of the program to which you applied (Computer Science - MS) has not recommended your admission. Their decision was based on the requirements of their particular program, which may include, the qualifications and performance of students currently studying in the program, and/or the number of new students that the program can accommodate and support. I support their decision and therefore cannot offer you admission. I appreciate your interest in the graduate programs at North Carolina State University, and I wish you well in your future endeavors.
