Rejected from the PhD program but offered admittance to the masters program. No tuition coverage / stipend, therefore, wont be accepting. No way I can afford that

To the person down me! Please, which interview wave did you participate in, I mean the date?

Attended interview weekend in mid-January. I got an E-mail stating final decisions were made and I was not selected. Good luck y'all

Sent an email saying to check web portal. Letter saying congratulations, I was given acceptance into the masters program, but denied from the PhD. No assistance given for covering the costs of the masters but some teaching positions available. Definitely won't be able to go here without any financial assistance, but at least it's nice to know I didn't get flat rejected. Applied with 2 years of full time research but no publications.

Admitted with Fellowship. 4.0 GPA from Masters program and 2 pending pubs.

To the posters below, do you mind sharing when your interviews were- to see when admissions might get back to us post interviews?

Notified four days after interview, really appreciate the speed. It's a fantastic program that actually cares about training great scientists

Interview 4 days ago. Undergrad from top Canadian uni, 3 years of research experience and strong LORs.

To the post below: have you received the formal offer letter?

I received an email directing me to check the portal as there were updates to my application status. I had a feeling this was their equivalent to a rejection letter.
