Got an offer for GTA last week (got accepted on March 08) with full tuition waiver from the department. I am going to UTA this fall.

TTPB asking about Purdue WL compared to Purdue Fort Wayne. I agree mostly with the poster below who mentioned about the group of students in the university. Being a graduate who completed my bachelors from Purdue Fort Wayne, I can say that it is a great place for study though cannot be compared to Purdue West Lafayette. There are a few very good professors who offer good courses and there is a lot of scope for self-study courses that you can take up if you are interested in a particular subject. Regarding the professors and the CS department, they are extremely supportive and helpful. The class sizes are also pretty small and the professors are very approachable. The university was taken over completely by Purdue last year (was a joint university between IU and Purdue earlier) after which it is receiving great amount of funding and is growing at a rapid pace. Local companies are also increasing support to the CS department though there are not many who hire international students in Fort Wayne. However, there are many students who found jobs quickly after completing their degrees and I myself received multiple job offers. You can also attend career fairs and other events organized by Purdue West Lafayette which is greatly beneficial. I feel that if the other university that you have is better than Purdue Fort Wayne (in terms of location and local industries), then do go for it. With Purdue Fort Wayne, you always get the same Purdue degree with lesser cost.

mine has been "in review" since... forever the weird thing is there weren't many admissions released up till this point so there's gotta be a large batch of admits still, but none of us has heard any news...

My status is still Submitted. I got this response from Ann Jack when I mailed her - "Our last day to approve files is May 21, 2019. If you have not heard from our Department, then your file will has not been considered." Seeing this I feel people having submitted status will get rejected. Anyone having same status as mine??

Non-CS major. Got an email to check the portal. Sending me this took a very long time.

I emailed them about a week ago and they answered this: "Your application is currently at the stage of Thesis supervisor review in progress". No idea what it means!

Have got acceptance

Applied to CS Data Science. Had been assuming I'm waitlisted, so took so long time to hear back from them. Thought I'd never get a letter from them but finally got it.

TTPB: I am also in the same situations as yours. Havn't received any emails from them after submitting my application.

Was rejected for the on campus MS and was given an option to transfer this application to the online Master's program, which is starting this Fall. Got into the online one today. Does anyone know if it is possible to convert this program to an on-campus one? How does it work in general?

My status still says "Awaiting Decision". Do they roll out admits in May? I assumed that this late generally means it will be a reject. Have there been cases of late admits before?
