MEng (Data Science)

"Your application for graduate study in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has been carefully considered by our Graduate Admissions Committee. We regret to inform you that the committee is not recommending you for admission. Due to space limitations and a very large number of exceptional applicants, we are unfortunately unable to recommend many well-qualified students for the program."

9.74/10.00 gpa, 2.5 years of undergrad research experience, 2 DB papers in submission, one ML in prep, all backed by strong LORs. From a totally unknown university in south eastern europe.

First Admit!!! Dream school!!!

From a top french school. Very happy ! Received email to check website.

I got the email that my status has changed to "for review", for the 3rd time from them!!! Seriously they have issues! So disappointing of them

TA + 5000$ Graduate Student Award for the first year

As expected. No communication, no interview and finally a simple pdf to say I am rejected. There goes my effort, sincerity and money. I am fed up with the rejects, till now 5 rejects; expecting 2/3 more at least.
