And understand what kind of Shit Mcgill is pulling on us. Will help us understand and make peace with why the things are taking the time given to the unversity.

Mine changed to "In review" today morning. Hoping to get a rejection soon. They are just doing it out of obligation I think, because of the 21st May deadline. This is not quite fair.

TTPB : I think they changed our statuses just as a mandatory procedure to complete the whole admission work of this year. Honestly, as I haven't got any news from McGill, I think that means a rejection clearly.

Accepted into the Online Masters of Science in Computer Science (OMSCS). They don't require GRE scores as of rn so the score is irrelevant. I did my undergrad in Biology with a minor in CS with a bunch of the core CS coursework (algorithms, data structures etc.) and I worked in a data/software engineering role in Biotech for a few years before I applied.

This was my safety for masters program apps and I got rejected (applied for concentration in Data Centric Computing), maybe because I also applied to a PhD program here. Got accepted into all the other programs though ironically?

My undergrad was not in Computer Science, it was in Biology. However, I had a significant focus on bioinformatics (coursework, 2 summer internships, and a senior thesis) and I'd gotten a minor in CS / taken most of the basic core CS courses (Data Structures, Algorithms, etc.) as part of it. I had to do a one-way video interview which I felt like I botched but made it through and a brief technical assessment (randomized questions on a variety of topics; not too difficult if you've had any exposure to CS) because I didn't major in CS.

Did Undergrad at UNC Charlotte. Received my recommendation for admission into State's CompSci Master's Program on 5/15/19. This is an "unofficial acceptance" and is dependent on sending my official transcript to the University. Official transcript can be either mailed or sent via an online transcript delivery service (hosted through the UNC system).

Do not worry if you got rejected after the interview. I had both lists of admitted students (from one admitted AI student) and interviewed students (from one AI prof. I got interviewed). Can not believe the admit rate is less than 10 percent even after the interview. AI is incredibly crowded.

TTPB: I sent them a mail yesterday. This was their reply: "Thank you for your interest in the Graduate Program in Computer Science at UC Davis! Applications are now being reviewed by the Admissions Committee, and we have been working on their review as quickly as possible with our resources. The Committee thoroughly reviews and considers each application, therefore the decision process takes time and we ask for your patience. Admissions decisions are expected to be distributed by the end of May". I think it is safe to assume that it will be a reject.
