To the posters below: Did your waitlisting emails have any information about your position in the waitlist?

how long do we still have to wait???

TTPB: No idea, each day I wait feels like a month. I have another admit but Columbia is way better than that. But, I don't know longer I can wait, coz visa appointment dates are getting full (Mumbai, India), and also need to decide on roommates, housing, etc.

I was told I was on a wait list in response to an inquiry I had sent them a while ago about my application status.

TTPB I was waitlisted on 20 April haven’t heard back from them till now. When were you waitlisted 3 May??

I haven't heard from CS software, but it's like I don't wait for it any more.

How many people still haven't heard from USC?

Has anyone heard back from the university after being wait listed? Is anyone aware of the chances of an admit?

Finally. Sweet release.

I don't think they even looked at my profile coz Boston was already full.

Rejected yesterday. Submitted 11th Feb. Gave interview just days after that. Finally rejection after 3 months. 2 years work ex. Going to BU this fall.

Was worried about the below average quant scores. My letters of recommendation must have been alright.

Well, that was expected.

Applied for Fall 2019 but got Spring 2020 admission.

Department rank 1/150. 2 years research exp. Undergrad university makes a phenomenal difference.

Ranking 1st in the department with a decent GRE score and a Fortune 500 sofware company internship, rejected, fine.

After 6 long months

Whatever. 335 GRE, 116 TOEFL, one survey publication in an international conference, another at a national conference, two software engineering and one data science internships, and a couple other research experiences.

The last one I was waiting for. Was a little hopeful but whatever. Will be joining BU this fall. Congrats to all those who got in.

2018/12/02 submitted application. 2019/03/10 interviewed.
