Still haven’t heard either. Wonder why they released masters rejections before PhD

GRE-329, UG from a Tier-1 NIT, 2 papers in average conferences, open-source contributions to Android Open Source Project, working in a semiconductor giant on core of Android OS (*not application development), work-ex very relevant to what I applied for (systems research). After a reject from GaTech, the reject from UCSD the same f*ing day hurt a lot. 5 rejects with no admits yet. Have no hopes left now for Masters atleast this year...

Anyone hears about PhD result?

It was my safe school. Still surprised. Have acceptance from better schools, so not too worried.

TTPB: waiting for Robotics PhD decision now. When did the department tell you about that? Are they still making decisions? Thanks!

Is anyone still waiting for notification? I haven't heard anything from the department. They said they are trying to make the decisions before April 15th.

2nd Admit!

Are the Ph.D. decisions notified? I had an interview in late February, yet did not hear from them anymore.

TPPB: are you talking only about Ph.D. applicants or masters too? I am very anxious because I already got 5 rejects. Does anyone else know when they will be giving out the results?

No prior research experience 1yr startup work Got the offers from UCSD and UCLA. It is really hard to make a decision. Any suggestion? Thanks

Received an email at 2:40am that the status of my application has changed. Links to the application page where it shows that I was accepted. My Background: undergraduate degree BS in Mech Eng. Top 20 school. 3 years of Engineering work experience with a decent amount of work in programming.
