Was invited to interview weekend (Jan 32/Feb 1). Was asked by PI on Monday if interested in working in his lab via email. Responded yes and few days later got notification by school of acceptance and listed this PI as mentor. TA assistance and tuition waiver for 5 years. Area is environmental science within this department.

Very excited! This is my top choice. Interviewed on Feb 19. Low uGPA, MSc in Genetics, more than 4years of research experience, strong LORs, 6 publications and several submitted article! Congrats to everyone who is accepted!

Please, if you are accepted and you don't plan to accept the offer, can you reject it as soon as possible?

Emailed a rejection letter this morning.

Told me there was no professor in the area I wanted to work in.

Informally notified by POI, official offer to come within a few days

32 months of full-time immuno-oncology research. 89th percentile biology GRE, 76th verbal, 49th quant. 3.1 double-major undergrad GPA from UCSD. Interviewed February 6th-7th. No email yet, I just kept hitting refresh on the portal for the last 26 days.
