interviewed a month ago. got my acceptance via email, super excited as it's my first one! Definitely considering, good luck to everyone else!

Not surprised since I didn't got the interview...

To poster below: I interviewed a couple of years ago (Civ track) and was the only Black woman interviewing. My interactions with students were weird, their questions were inappropriate and one of them was borderline racist saying I could work with her (white) advisor bc I was Black and she did research with Black people!!

**Does anyone know when Gillings is sending out interview or acceptances?

Population and Data Sciences Track - completed one short interview with two student members of the admissions committee in early February

The email mentioned that the information for scholarship will be sent in 3-4 weeks.

Anyone else just feel creepy vibes from this program? Second day of interviews and realizing just how not a good fit this program is… An older female faculty made an inappropriate comment mocking DEI and I just feel out of it. Guess this reflects why I heard from alumni that their APA accreditation isn't certain due to student complaints -____- glad I have other options and one other offer atm, just needed to vent tbh
