I have not applied for numerous US unis and UMD is one of my two options. PLEASE decline the offer if you are intending to pursue your studies elsewhere. I know you would understand this. 8.64/10 GPA from IIT-BHU. 1.7 yrs of work experience in robotic control and path planning. Good LoRs. No info on funding or thesis/non-thesis option.

Knew I wasn't going to get accepted but they could have just said I was declined in the email instead of making me log into their site.

I received the PhD Fellowship Award letter and RAship letter from UBC a week ago. Today I received the formal Email from Grad office of UBC Vancouver confirming my admission offer. My profile: Just google "Tensorbundle Lab", you would know my contributions that I have been making to the engineering community worldwide. Cheers!

MS. GPA = 4, Hey guys. I received a formal email from the UBC informing my acceptance in the Electrical Engineering Ph.D. program. I also got an acceptance from the UC Irvine, CA, USA. Any idea about which university is better for Electrical Engineering? Thanks.

TTPB: Do you know of any EECS MEng admits/rejects so far? Has anyone contacted the department?

'Rolling basis' means that they don't wait until all letters are finalized to send them out. i.e. When a letter is ready, it's sent. So I'd say that letters will be sent out throughout the coming week or two, maybe even later (my letter says that the offer needs to be accepted before April 15th btw).

To be poster below who applied for PhD in Electrical Engineering: Is it okay to share your academic qualifications? Also did you have a recent discussion with you professor? I'm waiting for my results too and yes, the wait is really killing me! :(

To the poster below, thank you very much!! But I don't understand what is 'on a rolling basis'. My professor nominated me for department fellowship. 'a rolling basis'--Does it mean that I will not be awarded the fellowship or fellowship is still being sent out?

To the poster below, I got my offer letter on March 11th (yesterday), including funding details. I don't think all letters are sent at once though—usually, it's on a rolling basis.

I mailed to UW ECE for their decision date, they said that most of the admits were sent out... The others who did not receive any results should receive rejection mail next week.
