Thrilled. Still waiting to hear about funding.

Email to check portal.

Same kind form email received by others

Kind rejection e-mail stating the committee felt the need to extend a word to me directly (assuming everyone got this).

MA+MFA

same email as the above posters. probably a form rejection, but a kind one at that. 1r/5p

I got the same e-mail as the posters below about receiving word directly from the department. I think this might just be a form email that they kindly send to everyone? 1a/0w/3r/7p

Email from department stating: " The number of available spaces in our program was extremely limited, and we've been obliged to turn down many outstanding applicants. The committee appreciated the opportunity to review your credentials, and felt that you deserved a word directly from the department." Congratulations to everyone who got in! (1a/2r/0w/6p)

A really kind rejection, IMO! The message came from dept. admin and said "The committee appreciated the opportunity to review your credentials, and felt that you deserved a word directly from the department." congrats to all who got accepted!

I want to thank everyone in this forum because it gave me a good timeline and got me to follow up. I am so excited to have gotten word from the committee, followed by an official letter from the graduate office. It's fully funded. I want to encourage those who are still waiting to hear. If you get rejected, someone else will accept!
