TTPB, I applied in the structural track.

This is depressing. The wait itself is a great burden and breaks your self confidence. I had applied a 10 universities. Have been rejected by 6. This has shattered me from inside. I feel I have lost my race between this competitive applications. This breaks my heart. I had sacrificed everything to take GRE and TOEFL and cost of 10 application. All my hard worked savings have been lost. I find the entire system as flaw, with all due respect. No emotions have been left in this system. Its a cruel and rude system of admission. This makes me think, do i really require a graduate education to be successful person in life? IDK, if I am heading to all 10 rejects. Its a matter of time, I'll get to know. Congrats to all admits, and I send my love and respect to all the people reading this who have been rejected, but still fighting against all odd and belief. DREAM BIG, say no to small things, even if you get rejected. Love and peace to all of you :))

Received an email from the department. No mention of funding as of now.

Had great talks with POI and they reached out to me personally when the decision had been made. Fully funded 2 year master's program with intention of continuing for PhD.

No funding, but with understanding that I'd go into PhD program following MEng. Talked with two POI before applying, and am currently waiting for results from NSF GRFP.

Initially applied to PhD but admitted as MS.

TTPB: Not yet. My POI says it will depend on the funding.

To the person who posted below, congrats on your acceptance! Can I know to what field did you apply please?

TTPB: Hi, the website shows that we will expect a decision in 6-8 weeks. It is hard to imagine at the end of March. By the way, has your POI agreed to your admission? What about the fellowship?

Interview last week. Sweet 32000 USD funding per year.

They not even sent email to tell me I've been rejected. Just one line has been written in my application status that “your applicant is denied. We will not send you any mails on this regard.” I've applied for more than 20 universities for my Master/PhD so far, and this is the most rude response I've received ever!!!

Anyone hear back from Civil department yet? I applied for MEng in January, still under review.

Does anyone know if Stanford gives funding to Masters students in Structural Engineering? I have been accepted but can't go without funding.
