Have an informal interview with the Chair before. Maybe it can compensate for my low GPA.

Received text from Director of Graduate Studies on Feb 4 and had a 10 min interview followed by admit email (MS GPA 3.69)

PhD rejected → master offer.....

I'm crying. That's all.

Pretty generic rejection email. So far, I just have one acceptance from my safe university.
