For the posters below who got acceptance from department but the status on grad school is still 'Under Review'... is it sorted for you? I'm still facing this problem..

Emailed department about application status, received the following: "Our admissions are in process until April 15. At this point, we don’t have an official word for you yet. Thank you for your patience."

TPB: I think that there were at least 2 admits (as per the listings below) and that UMD is filling its set number of spaces according to who is accepting/declining the offer. I also emailed Director Sprinkle because I need to let another school know my decision soon but I haven't heard back from anyone yet.

TPB: I had an email exchange with a couple of professors from the international development specialization in mid-late February. I reiterated my interest in the program and their research areas. Nothing formal or lengthy. Have heard nothing since. It sounds like they have yet to release decisions?

It was with Professor Patwardhan for environmental policy. The interview was a bit strange as we had the interview via skype as he was driving home (because I am currently in Asia and am 13 hours ahead of EST). The interview was ok (not great )and he told me that we would have to see what the admissions committee would do. Did you have an interview as well?

TPB: Thanks for sharing. Do you recall who you interviewed with and how did it go? What specialization are you pursuing? Good luck and I hope we get some news soon!

I'm waiting as well. I had an interview with a professor in mid February, but haven't hear anything afterwards...

Any applicants get notifications from the program? I have yet to hear anything...

Ugh.. I can't just sit here and wait until mid April because some other schools I was admitted to have certain deadlines for accepting the offer. UMD is one of my top choices, but it's just too risky to wait for their decision that I don't even know the answer to.. I really hope I get an offer by end of this week. Fingers crossed. I also sincerely wish good luck for all the other applicants.

When inquired, I received an email from the grad school stating that results will be out by mid-April. But what baffles me is that no one has even inquired about UMD's master's results apart from the post below. Has anyone even applied for this program? Any info on the batch size at least?

If you were accepted by Maryland but have better offers, please decline as soon as possible. Maryland is my top choice and I really want to get in to there

Accepted off the waitlist and thrilled!

Waitlisted as 2nd year incoming student. Notified today that they will not be going to their waitlist this year.

Mailed to graduate admission coordinator and asked about application status. Reply 'Thank you for your email! Faculty are currently reviewing applications and we hope to have decisions out by this week or early April.' Not feeling so optimistic at this point of time.

Psy.D. - originally waitlisted for 2nd year admission, received email today stating that all outstanding offers have been accepted.

I interviewed with them back on January 15, so I'm assuming I'm not accepted at this point. Has anyone else heard from UMD? I haven't seen anything here in the forums.
