No waitlist prior. Surprised.

Application status was updated to being under review by department in Saturday morning and received this email today.

Posting on behalf of a friend who doesn't use this site -- he got the acceptance call today. Full package of funding. I'm happy for him, but pouting, too, since I did NOT get the call...and am now less likely to.

1a/1w/13r/0p I was on the wait list. I really thought Wyoming would come through for me. I'm very disappointed right now. I'm waiting to see if funding will be available at the one school that accepted me. Waiting for the final decision at my waitlist school.

Last year, UW responded on 04/11. This year, I guess they're going to wait at least that long. Can you ask for your application money back? It's like they don't even care about their program.

Anyone else still heard nothing? No email, no letter attached to login portal. E-mailed them 2 weeks ago before the rejections went out and received a non specific, please be patient e-mail. ...still being patient. ..anyone have info. ?

To anyone who is still waiting, I just received notice that my application status was updated for departmental review around 7:00 am.

I've been waitlisted for a few weeks now. If you'll be attending elsewhere please notify them :)

Accepted off the waitlist today, after a suggestive email earlier this week that said I might be receiving news soon...so excited!! Funding to come, no TA-ships left but GA-ship, etc might be available through the grad school!

Emailed a letter saying I was not viewed favorbly. When I asked for specifics they were very rude. Uppity scumbags. What's my app fee for again? I'm done with New England forever.

Rude automatic email to check status update. They could at least give me oral for the application fee. Cheapskates.

To the U.A. poster below, I feel your pain. I was informed in early March that my app was referred to the department for review. No word since, even after e-mailing the program director. Anything can happen, still, I guess, but I doubt they would wait this long to get in touch if they wanted me. Onward and upward.
