Acceptance for Fall 2023 admission. Phone call 12/6, formal letter 12/8.

Fall 2023 admission, was invited to submit secondary application about a week after I submitted my application in November but yet to hear anything since then...has anyone gotten interview invite?

Domestic, submit late March and just accepted via email. Advice to prospective students - take initiative to secure a supervisor after you apply, especially if you apply closer to the deadlines. Having a supervisors interest will not guarantee acceptance but is a soft requirement for it, some may even reach out to you first if you are exceptional. I feel the website did not clarify this enough so I'm listing it here to hopefully help others in the future. Best of luck everyone!

Finally got a reply, this year seems to have been slower than in past.

I asked for the status of my application cause I had applied since January 15th and I got this "We have had a very large number of applicants this year and at the moment we have filled the class with as many students as we can accommodate. We won't be looking to add more unless a number of students decide not to come. I wish you best of luck in your search. regards".

Took them forever to get back to me. I applied December 2021 and got a response May 2022

The decision was released on the portal and not sent to my email.

Only applied with IELTS score - 7

Was initially shortlisted and had a good interview with an interested PI in January, expected selection in a few weeks but got no response despite emailing
