Received an email to check the portal for the decision. Interviews are mandatory, but did not receive any invitation, so knew it was a lost cause.

Both supervisors were really enthusiastic and also helped a ton with my application. They told me I was a foot in, but ultimately, near the decision date, they went radio silent. I don't know what happened.

AW cutoff for GRE was 4.5, so rejected maybe because of that. Other than that, had a thesis in RL, worked for a couple of years as a mechanical design engineer. One patent filed
