Applied for fall 2019. Was on the waitlist. Just received an email that i was admitted for spring 2020. Always fight on!

Applied for 2019 Fall. Received an email saying that I'm on the Waiting List in late April. Admitted to 2020 Spring finally.

Gonna decline, really don't like the attitude they have towards the candidates.

To the poster below: I would recommend writing an e-mail to the EECS office and provide your application number as well as your GRE issue. Mine said awaiting before, but they updated it a few days after I informed them of the problem. It is especially common among people with hyphenated names, I've heard.

I don't know what went wrong. Waiting for my other results now.

My Gradapp status page for EECS PhD shows GRE scores awaiting even after me sending it couple of months back. Is anyone facing the same scenario?

I was mailed by the graduate admissions committee on 23 rd Jan, regarding my TOEFL waiver and that the Department is waiting for a Language certificate from my current school, and when asked about admission decisions, they said they are still working on it, and Interviews are not necessary for admissions that was what Graduate admissions team at Stanford told me.

"Your application has unfortunately not been selected for a fellowship; however, you are considered eligible for the program. This means that the EDIC Admissions Committee considers your credentials strong enough to join the program if an EDIC-affiliated lab is interested in your profile and will hire you directly."
