Has anyone received any notification regarding Royster Fellowships? I'm curious if those were nominated were notified with their acceptance or if notification takes place after the Fellows are selected. Thanks!

The only school that required application materials to be sent by snail mail. Only appropriate they mailed a rejection letter as well.

I am devastated. This was my last rejection and also my top choice. This season gave me mental breakdowns. Life sucks! Congratulations to those who are in, though.

Email telling me that there were a lot of strong applicants this year and they were unable to admit everyone promising. Generic, pretty much.

Expected. You know how sometimes when people get rejected they say that it was a bad fit and you wonder why then did they bother applying? Well, that's me. I have my reasons: first, NYU has a good anthro program and second, I really liked this professor whose research is like tangentially related to mine at best but I still thought they were super cool so what the hell. It happens people. Also sometimes you can think that the fit might not be good and they accept you anyways and sometimes you are right in thinking that it's not a great fit. Just my 2 cents.
