To the poster below: We have the same POI! I’ve been in close contact with him since September of last year. I spoke to him a few weeks ago and he said he didn’t have any more information for me but he would let me know as soon as he did and just to hang in there. Ugh I just want to know. OSU is my top choice...

RESPONSE: His initials are SM. I still haven't heard the official word from them yet which is weird cause emailed me almost a month ago now. So don't fret, maybe you got in? I think if we had the same advisor he would've emailed you to let you know though.

Email to check portal. Form letter, no word from PI or department yet, no mention of funding.

Has anyone else not heard back from NYU yet?

This is one of my top choices, I hate to do this but if you've been accepted and know for sure that you're not going please decline ASAP. I would really appreciate it

Admitted to MAPSS with financial assistance.

Accepted to MAPSS instead, but declined it.

W8ing for scholarship decision.

I will be accepting this offer, super excited after three previous rejections.

Waiting on funding :( I'm super excited because this is my first choice but I won't be attending if I don't get funding.

I called the Anthro dept to ask how the admissions process was going and was told I made it onto the admitted students list. They said they plan to send out accept/reject letters this Friday 3/8. No idea about funding.

Expected this rejection, as there were no POIs who work in my region. Applied mostly because it's such an excellent school for anthro theory. I applied in the archaeo track. 4a/1r/0w of 5

was told to check portal. standard rejection letter.
