Rejected from PhD, but accepted to MS. I feel so bad in that they gave me MS program. I already got offer from better PhD program. Lol

Rejected from PhD. Accepted in professional master program (PMP). Not sure if I am gonna accept the offer or not.

Anyone here who get rejected from PhD, but got admitted to the MS-Professional Program?

To the posters below waiting for UCLA acceptance: A while back at the UCLA open house for accepted students' the admissions mentioned that all their acceptances will be released within the next 2 weeks and this was a month ago.

Has anyone received an update regarding the scholarships/financial aid? Haven't gotten anything yet even though it was supposed to be released on the 12th - should I assume I did not receive any aid?

Got rejection from PhD. Got rejection from masters-research. No interview. Previously dropped multiple emails with no response. This was my dream school for comp arch and my overall application was so apt. PMP admit given, but what do I do with that? I am not sure how many deferrals they took from the previous year and how many newer admits they rolled. Fk them all.

Due to recent changes in leadership and other key factors, we now have the ability to admit more qualified students to our Master of Electrical and Computer Engineering (MECE) degree program at Rice University!

I sent a status update request through the UCLA ECE Message Center on April 8. Got the following reply today via email, "Thank you for your interest in our program. Our department is currently finalizing admission decisions. All students will be notified via email regardless of the outcome. Thank you for your patience.". I don't think I am hearing from them before April 15.

Not an interview- It's ridiculous how they haven't given any decisions yet?!?! The deadlines to accept other offers are almost here

To the posters below: I have also received zero response from UCLA and it is 4/12 lol. I think it's a disgrace for a top university like UCLA to leave students in the dark! My last email from them was Dec.1, which was to confirm that my application was submitted. I have just submitted my SIR to a different school and will not attend UCLA at this point even if they accept me.

TTPB: No response for PhD app yet. It is almost April 15 and I have already committed to another uni but I am disappointed by their lack of communication.

Received admit to Fall 2021 after being deferred to Fall 2022, a few days ago.

Received email to check decision on you.sc.edu. Had no contact prior to this so expected a rejection. 2 waitlists, 5 rejections so far.

I had no interviews. The decision letter from the Dean of Admissions was posted containing "After careful review of your application and supporting materials, the Admission Committee has asked me to inform you that your application to the Doctor of Philosophy program in Electrical Engineering for Fall 2021 has not been approved, and we are not able to offer you admission to this program."

Got a reject mail today. Had no previous contact, so sort of expected this. All the best to others!!!!
