TPB: I did get into two other programs. Although, I have to admit the competition was much stronger than I anticipated. Please do share what the director says to you.

My online application status still states “under departmental review.” Although I would love to hear yes from them, it’s so late in the game I’m just assuming that I’ve been rejected. TPB: I received an email from the dept. stating that they no longer had spots available. It sounds like they're done for this admissions seasons. Subsequently, I've received a rejection letter via online portal. Good luck.

Got an email with attached letter from Chair of Admissions saying I’ve been placed on the waitlist.

Got a fully funded RA from a prof. that was not in my list. My only offer till now! I declined it on 13th sadly since it's not my research direction of interest.

OK I see someone got off from waitlist, and another waitlistee rejected. But I heard nothing from Maryland. Are they still sorting out their applicants or just lazy sending rejection email

Got an email today saying they sent out the first round of WL acceptances and that we weren't in that group but can remain on the list. The transparency in this process from Loyola has been so refreshing!! For next years applicants, absolutely worth applying to not feel like another anonymous number :)

Got accepted off the wait list today!! This is my first acceptance after being placed on four wait lists and two rejections. I'm going to wait a week or to see if I hear from other schools, but I'm very excited!
