Received a personal email from my POI letting me now that they were nominating me for admission with a 5 year fellowship covering tuition, and a stipend. Wasn't interviewed but did meet with POI when he came to give a talk at my campus. Good luck to everyone and hope we all hear back soon!

TTPB: I am pretty surprised why Boston University has ghosted us during this entire application process. No portals to check on our status, very minimal correspondence, and now not even a final word on the verge of the "Admitted Students Open House Day" in a week. :(

Offered a scholarship of 150k, but studying at BU is still very expensive...

Accepted with Dean's Scholarship.

To the BU posters below, it looks like the MA is 11 courses which may be a stretch for two semesters. If you want to talk more about the program feel free to message me at "bstat6"

Out of field international applicant with required pre-reqs. Accepted with a 10k/year scholarship, so happy but the price is still unbelievably high...

Had an interview on the 27th. They said the results will roll out end of Mar and beginning of Apr

TTPB. The deadline for decisions might be April 1, but on their website, the open house is already scheduled to be on March 6, which is concerning. Can we still get in if not invited to the open house?

For those accepted, were you told about your scholarship in the same email or another? Just curious as I'm weighing prices! (Non CSD background, lots of outside experience if curious)

experimental condensed matter

happy to be accepted but unfortunately the cost is just unreasonable in my opinion

Looks like poster below was a troll. Sad - BU is my last greatest hope, another weekend of anxiety...

Offered a 30K/year scholarship and a 3K/year graduate assistantship position!
